Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 October 2026
1. Welcome to Platinum Think
1.1 Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Platinum Think website, member services, courses, PDFs, digital content and related services. Read these Terms before using the services or making a purchase. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “Platinum Think” mean the party providing this website and related services under the Platinum Think brand. “You” means the user or purchaser. Our services include selections of public statements from people in AI, translations, highlights, summaries, educational courses and digital guides. Free reading and paid products are provided according to their respective descriptions.
The product scope, price, delivery and access period stated on the product page, checkout and order confirmation form part of the purchase contract. If they conflict with these general Terms, product-specific terms expressly presented at purchase take priority for that product, subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded.
1.2 Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as services or legal requirements change and will show the revision date here. Material changes will be notified as required by law. Later updates do not arbitrarily or retrospectively change the core price, content or rights of a confirmed purchase. These Terms are provided in English only and are interpreted under applicable law and the commitments made to consumers.
1.3 Privacy
We handle information under the Privacy Policy. By using the services, you agree to receive order confirmations, delivery, account, security and terms notices needed to provide the service. Marketing messages are handled separately under applicable consent and opt-out requirements. You may save or print these Terms and transaction records for reference.
1.4 Defined materials and services
“Materials” include our original lesson videos and audio, presentations, lesson plans, handouts, exercises, examples, downloadable files, PDFs, assessments and accompanying written content, including substantial extracts and protected adaptations. “Services” include the website, membership, course access and digital-product delivery. A reference to our intellectual property concerns rights we own or are entitled to license; it does not assert ownership of third-party statements or general ideas.
“Written permission” means an express authorisation from Platinum Think identifying the permitted material, users and purpose. Purchasing an individual product, receiving a file, attending a lesson, or having the technical ability to print or share does not by itself constitute written permission for those activities.
1.5 Contract documents and product scope
The product description and order confirmation identify what you purchase. A reference to a collection, library or course does not include other products unless expressly stated. Any business, school, group, instructor or institutional licence must be agreed separately in writing. If a specifically agreed written licence permits an activity otherwise restricted by these Terms, that permission applies only within its stated scope.
These Terms do not replace a separately signed agreement where that agreement expressly governs the same subject. Advertising summaries and informal comments do not expand an order beyond the commitments reasonably made in the product description, checkout and confirmation. Nothing in this provision excludes responsibility for a misleading statement or a mandatory consumer right.
1.6 Registration and electronic acceptance
A member must actively accept the Terms of Service during registration or membership completion. The agreement covers the conditions governing subsequent purchases, downloads and use of materials; a separate acceptance box is not required at every checkout. The current Terms are available through the registration link. A person accepting on behalf of an organisation must have authority to bind it and must obtain any required organisational licence.
Downloading or using materials is permitted only within the licence granted under the accepted contract. Possession of a download link or file does not create a broader licence. Electronic confirmations and registration records may be used as evidence where permitted by law, without making any party’s own record conclusive or removing the other party’s right to challenge its accuracy.
1.7 Revisions affecting existing purchases
We may revise these Terms for legal, security, operational or product changes. Material revisions will be brought to your attention as required by law, and fresh acceptance may be required where necessary. We will not use an undisclosed later revision to impose a new payment or damages obligation retrospectively for conduct that occurred under an earlier agreement. The version applicable to a transaction and its proper incorporation remain subject to applicable law.
2. Access to and use of the services
2.1 Eligibility
You must have legal capacity to enter into the relevant contract. If you are below the age of majority where you live, you must have permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. The payer must be authorised to use the selected payment method. You must not use the services where prohibited by law.
2.2 Accounts and security
Provide accurate information when creating or using an account and keep your contact details current. Accounts and paid access are for the account holder and must not be sold, transferred or shared unless the product expressly permits it. Keep passwords, sign-in links and devices secure, and sign out after using a shared device.
If you discover unauthorised use, take reasonable steps to secure your account and notify us promptly. We may temporarily restrict an account to investigate suspicious activity or protect security. Responsibility for account activity depends on the circumstances and applicable law.
2.3 Courses and digital products
Course lessons, format, language, instructors, schedules and supporting materials are as described for the product. Unless expressly included, a purchase does not include individual coaching, certification, software licences or third-party tool fees. You decide whether to purchase third-party services separately.
We may update content to correct errors or reflect changes in tools without materially reducing the core content purchased. If course arrangements change materially, we will notify affected learners and act under the purchase contract and applicable law.
2.4 Service changes and availability
We take reasonable steps to maintain the website, but maintenance, security, network conditions and other events may cause interruptions. We may update free content and features. Material adverse changes to paid services will be notified and addressed as required by law. Events outside our control do not remove obligations that apply by law.
2.5 Individual and organisational access
Unless a written licence says otherwise, membership and purchased access are granted to one named individual. An employer’s payment does not automatically permit every employee, colleague, contractor or customer to use the purchase. A school or training business must not treat one individual purchase as a class, site or instructor licence. Additional users or teaching rights require express written authorisation.
You must not sell, lend, rent, transfer or pool an account or its credentials. Do not create a shared login, distribute account recovery links, grant remote access for others to watch restricted lessons, or purchase through one account for unlicensed users. A permitted change of personal device does not permit simultaneous sharing with other people.
2.6 Access periods and updates
Access lasts for the period expressly described for the product. Words describing an outright purchase do not by themselves promise perpetual website hosting, future versions, individual support, additional lessons or all products subsequently released. If a product expressly promises a particular access period or updates, that commitment forms part of the contract and is subject to applicable law.
We may correct errors, update examples, replace outdated tool instructions or change presentation without materially reducing the core service purchased. An update does not license you to redistribute an earlier version. Rights in a lawfully retained personal PDF remain subject to the same restrictions after a website update or the end of an associated subscription.
2.7 Devices, connectivity and compatibility
You are responsible for an appropriate device, supported browser, internet connection and software capable of opening the stated file format. Review any requirements disclosed for the product. We do not control your connection, workplace restrictions or third-party software settings. This does not excuse a failure of our product to meet its description or applicable mandatory standards.
Downloads may have reasonable security or operational limits, as disclosed or reasonably necessary to prevent abuse. Repeated access from unrelated locations or devices may be investigated. A security check does not establish that you have breached the contract, and reasonable access problems should be raised through the support contact in section 14.
2.8 Credentials and suspected compromise
Use credentials you are entitled to control and do not impersonate another person. Promptly secure your email and sign-in provider if you suspect compromise. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify account ownership before changing access. We will not ask you to disclose your password or one-time verification code through ordinary customer-support messages.
You must not use another person’s membership or present someone else’s order as your own. Responsibility for unauthorised account activity is determined by the facts and applicable law; these Terms do not make you automatically liable for every act resulting from a security failure attributable to us.
3. Conditions of use and purchase
3.1 User conduct
Do not use the services for fraud, unlawful activity, infringement, harassment, malware or unauthorised collection of other people’s information. Do not probe vulnerabilities, bypass authentication, disrupt operations, impersonate others or extract content in a way that imposes an unreasonable burden on the services. Activities permitted by law or expressly authorised by us in writing remain permitted.
3.2 Orders and pricing
Before ordering, check the product, language, format, access period, price, currency, taxes and payment details. The total confirmed at checkout applies. Your card issuer or payment provider may charge currency-conversion or international transaction fees under its own terms. Enter promotional codes before paying; the stated promotional conditions apply.
A purchase contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order. If an obvious pricing error, unauthorised payment or reasonable suspicion of fraud prevents acceptance, we will notify you and handle the order under applicable law. Price changes do not retrospectively change confirmed orders.
3.3 Payment services
Payments are processed through Stripe, Airwallex or another payment provider identified at checkout. You authorise the charge for the confirmed order amount and agree to the applicable payment terms of your chosen provider. A payment-success page does not expand the product entitlements described in your order.
A one-time purchase does not automatically become a subscription. Any recurring payment must clearly disclose the amount, billing interval and cancellation method before checkout and obtain your agreement. Paid access may be suspended if a payment is declined, reversed or incomplete, subject to applicable law.
3.4 Digital delivery
Courses and PDFs are supplied digitally through account access, email or download links as described in your order. Physical delivery is not included unless expressly stated. Content is supplied within the stated delivery period after payment confirmation; pre-orders and staged courses follow their published schedules.
Provide an email address that can receive notifications and retain your order confirmation. You are responsible for compatible devices, internet access and required reading software. The access period is the period stated for the product; a one-time payment does not mean perpetual hosting, unlimited updates or access to all other products. If delivery fails, use the contact details accompanying your order confirmation and provide the order information so we can verify and arrange re-delivery or another remedy.
3.5 Subscriptions and renewals
If you expressly choose a subscription, renewal and billing follow the plan confirmed at checkout. We will provide renewal or price-change notices where required by law. You may stop future renewal using the cancellation method supplied at purchase; cancellation normally does not end access for the period already paid.
Separately purchased products and subscriptions are independent; cancelling one does not automatically cancel other orders.
3.6 Members-only purchasing
You must sign in to a completed member account before purchasing a course or PDF through this website. Use the account and contact details intended to receive the purchase. Membership acceptance is separate from payment authorisation: accepting the Terms does not authorise an unspecified charge, a new subscription or a charge against an unrelated payment method.
Opening an account does not itself buy a product. A payment confirmation does not entitle another account to the same product, and signing in does not prove ownership of all paid content. Where a product is offered under a group arrangement, the written arrangement determines the authorised users.
3.7 Payment authority, taxes and records
You must have permission to use the chosen payment instrument and provide accurate billing information. Applicable taxes and the transaction currency are those disclosed before confirmation. Your payment provider may apply its own conversion rate or other charges under its agreement with you; we do not promise that a bank will use the rate you expect.
Keep your order and payment records. If a transaction appears unauthorised, duplicated or incorrectly described, provide the relevant details promptly for investigation. Do not send full payment-card information by email. Raising a dispute does not by itself establish misconduct, and we will consider available transaction evidence under applicable law.
3.8 Payment plans, offers and mistakes
An instalment plan or other special payment arrangement applies only if expressly offered and accepted. Any schedule, amount and consequences of a missed payment must be disclosed with that arrangement. No additional late charge or interest is created merely by this paragraph. A promotional price applies only under its stated eligibility and validity conditions.
We may decline an order reasonably suspected of fraud or containing an obvious and material error, but must handle the transaction under the contract and applicable law. We must not use this discretion to substitute a materially different product or undisclosed price without your agreement.
3.9 Delivery information and availability
Digital products are delivered by the method described for the order. Make sure your email address is correct and check any delivery instructions. A release schedule, cohort date or phased delivery is part of the relevant product description. Do not treat an estimated date as an express promise of a different access period.
If you cannot access a supplied file or lesson, provide the order number, device or browser details and a concise description of the problem. We may check that the request comes from the authorised purchaser before restoring access. A replacement link or copy carries the same personal licence and does not create a redistribution entitlement.
4. Intellectual property
4.1 Ownership and reading licence
Original writing, courses, PDFs, designs, marks and other website content belong to Platinum Think or the relevant licensors. Rights in third-party statements, names and materials remain with their owners. A purchase grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the product, not copyright or ownership.
Unless the product expressly authorises it or the law permits it, use is limited to personal, non-commercial learning. Do not resell, publicly distribute, upload to sharing platforms, provide shared downloads, reproduce courses for commercial training, remove rights notices or bypass access controls. You may save PDFs on your own devices and make reasonable personal backups, but must not make them available for others to download.
You must read and actively accept these Terms during registration or membership completion, including this section’s restrictions on copying, printing, commercial use and teaching. Subsequent purchases, downloads and use of the materials are subject to the accepted contractual terms.
4.2 No printing, commercial reuse or unauthorised teaching
Without Platinum Think’s prior written permission, you must not print, photocopy or commission printed copies of course materials, handouts, PDFs or any substantial part of them, including paper copies for personal use. Reading or purchasing materials does not grant a printing licence. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
You must not repackage, adapt, translate, resell, rent, distribute or otherwise commercially reuse the materials or any substantial part of them. You must not use them for unauthorised public or private teaching, corporate training, workshops, live streams or recorded lessons, whether paid or free. You may apply general knowledge and skills in your own work; this does not grant permission to reproduce or teach from the materials.
4.3 Agreed damages and enforcement
The agreed damages for unauthorised printing, reproduction or provision of material copies to third parties are US$1,000 per copy. The agreed damages for unauthorised teaching using the materials or a substantial part of them are US$30,000 per lesson. These amounts apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and where the provision is enforceable.
A “copy” means one separate paper copy or an electronic copy made or supplied without permission, containing a set of materials or a substantial part of it. It is not counted per page and excludes technical caching or storage needed for authorised personal reading. A “lesson” means one separately held or published teaching session, not each viewer or student.
We may pursue evidence-supported contractual claims, suspend relevant access and seek an injunction or other lawful remedy. Disputes about amounts or enforceability are determined under applicable law by a court with jurisdiction or another appropriate process. If an agreed amount is unenforceable, we may seek compensation for provable losses under applicable law, without double recovery for the same loss.
4.4 Protected adaptations and commercial exploitation
Without written permission, you must not convert materials into your own branded course, translate substantial protected content for distribution, repackage exercises as a paid workbook, sell a download bundle, supply a shared drive, or use the materials to fulfil a commercial teaching or training engagement. Charging for your time rather than for the file does not remove a restriction where the protected materials are being commercially reused.
Restrictions on copying or adaptation concern protected expression and the contractual licence to the materials. They do not grant us ownership of independently developed work, general AI knowledge, unprotected ideas or rights belonging to others. Any use that applicable law does not allow a contract to restrict remains unaffected.
4.5 Instructor, classroom and workshop use
A learner licence does not authorise you to act as an instructor using our materials. This includes displaying lessons to a class, distributing handouts to students, teaching from substantial extracts, presenting the materials in a workshop, making recordings of instruction based on them, or providing them as a training package to an employer or client. The restriction applies whether the audience pays you or receives the session free of charge.
An authorised teaching licence must state the permitted materials, instructor or organisation, participants and scope. Permission for one event or course does not automatically cover additional cohorts, recordings, translations or sublicensing. Any agreed damages claim remains subject to the definitions and enforceability limits in section 4.3; this paragraph does not add a per-student or per-page charge.
4.6 Copies, recordings and public distribution
Do not make unauthorised paper copies, scan or photograph printed materials for redistribution, capture lesson recordings for others, publish substantially complete transcripts, or circulate restricted access links. Do not place protected materials in a public repository, messaging group, content-sharing service or an AI training dataset without written permission.
Technical storage reasonably required for your authorised personal viewing and an expressly permitted personal backup are distinguished from copies made for other people or other purposes. Do not remove copyright statements, identifying marks or access controls. The availability of a browser print, screen-capture or download function does not expand the licence.
4.7 Branding, credentials and association
You must not use our name, marks, course artwork or the names of featured people to suggest an authorised training partnership, endorsement or certification that has not been expressly granted. Do not issue a purported Platinum Think certificate, resell access under our brand or register a confusing account or domain for that purpose. Ownership of third-party marks remains with their respective owners.
A truthful statement about a course you personally completed must not misrepresent a professional qualification, instructor status, accreditation or commercial relationship. Nothing in this provision prevents a lawful review, fair reference or other use protected by applicable law.
4.8 Investigation and preservation of evidence
If there are reasonable grounds to suspect a breach, we may preserve relevant records lawfully available to us, investigate the account’s use, request information reasonably needed to understand the activity, and issue a notice requiring the activity to stop. We must handle personal information under the Privacy Policy and applicable law. These Terms do not authorise unlawful monitoring of your private device or unrelated communications.
For a supported claim, relevant evidence may include the distributed materials, event advertisements, a lawfully obtained recording, account or transaction records, and correspondence. An allegation or our own calculation is not conclusive proof. The existence, number and extent of any unauthorised copies or lessons may be challenged through the applicable dispute process.
4.9 Protective measures and available remedies
Where justified by the circumstances and applicable law, we may restrict access while investigating a material breach, require unauthorised distribution or teaching to stop, seek removal of infringing content, and apply to a competent court for an injunction or other available relief. We may pursue an enforceable contractual claim or another remedy available under intellectual-property law, without obtaining duplicate compensation for the same loss.
Any recovery of investigation expenses, legal costs or other amounts requires a lawful basis and remains subject to the appropriate court or dispute process. This paragraph does not create an automatic debit, an undisclosed administrative charge or a right to recover any amount solely because we demand it.
4.10 Requests for permission and rights complaints
If you need printed copies, commercial reuse, classroom access, instructor rights or an institutional arrangement, obtain written permission before the activity begins. Specify the intended materials, audience, number of users, format and purpose so the requested scope can be assessed. Silence or an unanswered request does not grant permission.
A rights complaint should identify the work, the material or activity concerned, the location where it can be found, and your authority to act for the rights holder. Use the contact in section 14. We may request information reasonably necessary to assess a complaint and must not treat a report alone as a final judicial finding.
5. Third-party websites and tools
Third-party tools, payment services, sign-in services and external websites are provided by their respective suppliers under their own applicable terms and privacy policies. Mentioning or using them does not guarantee continued availability or authorise us to make commitments on their behalf. Changes to a third-party tool’s version, pricing or features may affect examples in learning materials.
5.1 Separate providers and purchases
External websites, AI tools, software and payment providers are operated by separate parties. Their terms, availability, pricing and privacy practices may change. A course purchase does not include their subscriptions, credits or licences unless expressly stated. You decide whether to use or pay for those services and must comply with their lawful requirements.
A reference to a third-party service is not a promise that every feature will remain unchanged. We remain responsible for commitments we make about our own product and do not use the existence of a third party to exclude a mandatory responsibility imposed on us by law.
6. Third-party sign-in services
If you choose Google or another third-party sign-in service, you authorise that provider to authenticate you and supply relevant account information within the permissions you confirm. Its own terms and privacy policy also apply. Keep your third-party account secure. An interruption to that service may affect member features.
6.1 Third-party identity and membership completion
A third-party identity provider may authenticate an account, but website membership remains subject to the required registration and acceptance of these Terms. You must not use a third-party login to impersonate another purchaser or bypass a membership restriction. If a provider withdraws access or you lose control of its account, reasonable identity verification may be needed to restore access.
We do not receive your third-party account password through the normal sign-in flow. Information supplied with your permission is handled under the Privacy Policy. Changes to the identity provider’s service do not grant you permission to share another person’s account or circumvent access controls.
7. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for information you submit and your use of the services, subject to applicable law, the rights of others and these Terms. Do not share accounts, distribute paid content without permission or use learning examples for unlawful activity. Responsibility is determined by the circumstances and applicable law.
7.1 Claims arising from your unlawful conduct
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for losses directly caused by your fraudulent or unlawful use of the services, infringement of another person’s rights, or a material breach attributable to you. This does not make you responsible for losses caused by our own wrongful conduct or matters for which the law does not allow responsibility to be transferred.
If a third-party claim arises from material you supplied or an unauthorised activity you carried out, we may request reasonable cooperation and information. Any claim for compensation or recoverable defence costs must have a lawful basis, be reasonably connected to the conduct and remain open to challenge. We will not bind you to a settlement that creates an obligation for you without a proper legal basis or your agreement.
7.2 No evasion or assistance in infringement
Do not assist another person to obtain access or copies they are not licensed to receive, sell credentials, organise pooled purchases to defeat individual licences, or continue an identified unauthorised activity through a replacement account. A restriction directed at unlawful or materially abusive conduct must not be evaded by impersonation or misrepresentation.
8. Content and warranties
Content is for general information and education and is not investment, financial, legal, medical or other professional advice. AI-assisted editing, translation and summaries may contain errors, omissions or incomplete context. Summaries and translations are editorial material and should not be treated as verbatim statements.
Mentioning a person, company or brand does not make them our partner, instructor or endorser. Learning outcomes depend on your background, effort and application. We do not guarantee income, employment, investment returns, professional qualifications or particular results.
To the extent permitted by law, free information is provided as available without a guarantee of complete accuracy or suitability for every purpose. Paid products must still meet their descriptions and applicable statutory standards. Assess whether information and tools are suitable for your circumstances.
8.1 Tool changes and learning outcomes
Examples may refer to tools or interfaces available when the materials were prepared. Technology can change, and you should check current instructions before applying an example to important work. We do not guarantee that every example will operate identically on every device, software plan or later version, unless a specific compatibility commitment is expressly made.
Testimonials and examples describe particular experiences and are not a promise of your results. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs before publication, safeguarding confidential information and obtaining any professional advice your circumstances require. This does not exclude a responsibility for the product to conform to its description.
8.2 Mandatory standards remain applicable
Statements about availability, informational accuracy or learning outcomes do not remove any warranty, standard of care or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any disclaimer is read subject to applicable consumer law and the express commitments made about the product purchased.
9. Limits of responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, are not directly connected to our breach, or arise from business use. These Terms do not exclude or restrict liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct or any liability, warranty or consumer remedy that the law does not allow to be excluded or restricted.
9.1 Scope of any permitted limitation
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability for a claim arising from a paid product is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the product giving rise to that claim. This limitation does not apply where the law prohibits it and does not override an express obligation that cannot legally be limited in this way.
We do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, deliberate wrongdoing or any other matter that applicable law says cannot be excluded or restricted. Any exclusion concerning business losses or indirect losses applies only where legally permitted and appropriate to the circumstances. A consumer’s mandatory rights take priority over a conflicting limitation.
9.2 Avoidable loss and evidence
Each party should take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary additional loss after becoming aware of a problem. A claim should be supported by relevant facts, transaction information and evidence. This is not a shortened statutory limitation period or a requirement to abandon an available legal process.
10. Transaction disputes
For a transaction dispute, first provide the relevant order and issue details so both sides can reasonably try to resolve it. This does not prevent you from seeking assistance from a payment provider, consumer-protection body, regulator or court with jurisdiction, and does not require you to waive collective proceedings or accept a specified arbitration process.
10.1 Notice and good-faith resolution
For a dispute, send a clear description of the issue, the relevant account or order, the material facts and the outcome sought to the contact in section 14. Both parties should have a reasonable opportunity to consider the information and try to resolve the matter. Urgent relief and statutory reporting rights remain available where applicable.
A failure to agree does not make either party’s proposed amount final. You may challenge the facts, incorporation or enforceability of a term, and either party may pursue an available claim in a competent forum. These Terms do not give us a unilateral power to decide a contested legal liability.
10.2 No undisclosed arbitration or rights waiver
No mandatory private arbitration venue, class-action waiver, foreign governing-law choice or shortened claim deadline is created merely by accepting a general registration box. Any additional agreement of that kind would require its own lawful basis and proper disclosure. Mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rules continue to apply.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end relevant access where reasonably necessary to address suspected unlawful activity, fraud, a serious breach, infringement or a security risk. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and provide a reasonable opportunity to address the issue. Termination does not remove accrued contractual or statutory rights, and downloaded content remains subject to its licence terms.
11.1 Grounds and proportionate action
Grounds for restricting access may include supported evidence of credential sharing, unauthorised copying or teaching, fraudulent payment activity, interference with service security or another material breach. We may take immediate protective action where reasonably necessary to address an urgent risk. Where practicable, we will explain the concern and allow a reasonable opportunity to respond or correct it.
Restrictions must be considered in light of the evidence, the affected product and applicable law. Termination does not by itself prove a breach or establish an agreed-damages amount. It does not extinguish rights or responsibilities already accrued under the contract or the law.
11.2 Use after access ends
After a licence or access right lawfully ends, you must stop activities that depend on it and must not bypass technical restrictions to regain access. Any obligation concerning retained copies is determined by the licence, the reason access ended and applicable law. Keep transaction records or evidence where you are legally entitled or required to retain them.
Provisions concerning intellectual property, restrictions on unauthorised copying and teaching, accrued payment obligations, lawful claims, limitations subject to law and dispute handling continue to operate where their nature requires.
12. User-submitted material
If you submit questions, reviews, assignments or other material, you retain your existing rights and must be entitled to submit it. You grant us a non-exclusive licence reasonably necessary to provide, administer and improve the relevant service. These Terms do not grant unrestricted rights to publish private assignments or use your likeness in advertising.
12.1 Your rights and limited permission
You must have the rights needed to submit a review, question, assignment or other material and must not include another person’s confidential information without authority. You retain ownership of your original work. The permission you grant us is limited to what is reasonably needed to host, process, review, respond to and provide the relevant service.
Submitting private coursework does not grant an unrestricted advertising or public-distribution licence. Any use of your identity, image, testimonial or private work for a separate promotional purpose must have an appropriate legal basis and any consent required by applicable law.
12.2 Moderation and interactions
If a service permits reviews, discussions or other shared submissions, we may remove material reasonably believed to be unlawful, infringing, misleading, abusive or outside the purpose of the feature. Moderation does not make us the author of every user statement, but we remain subject to any responsibilities imposed on us by law.
Do not solicit other users’ credentials, upload materials you are not entitled to distribute or misrepresent an affiliation with us. Interactions with other users do not expand your licence to our materials. Report a specific concern with enough information for it to be assessed.
13. General provisions
Applicable law and jurisdiction are determined under the relevant legal rules, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protection available where you habitually reside. An invalid or unenforceable provision does not affect the remaining provisions. A delay in exercising a right is not a waiver. Payment, licence, intellectual-property and responsibility provisions continue after termination where their nature requires it.
13.1 Entire agreement and written permissions
These Terms, the accepted product-specific conditions and any separately agreed written licence form the agreement on their subject matter. An amendment or permission must be granted by a person authorised to act for us and must identify what it changes. A general conversation, delayed response or continued technical availability does not silently grant redistribution or teaching rights.
This provision does not exclude responsibility for a fraudulent or misleading representation, or a protection that the law does not allow an entire-agreement clause to remove.
13.2 Transfer, relationship and notices
You may not transfer an individual account or licence without our written permission. A lawful transfer of our business or contractual rights must respect the commitments owed to customers and any notice or consent required by law. These Terms do not create a partnership, employment, franchise or agency relationship between you and us.
Operational notices may be delivered through your account email, the service or another appropriate channel. Keep your contact details current. Transaction and security messages are distinct from optional marketing communications, which remain subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
13.3 Severability and no waiver
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. A court may apply the legal consequences allowed in the relevant jurisdiction; these Terms do not require it to rewrite an unlawful term to guarantee our preferred result. A delay or failure to enforce a right on one occasion does not automatically waive that right in another case.
A contractual damages amount that is not enforceable does not establish entitlement to that amount through a different label. Any alternative claim must have its own lawful basis and must not produce duplicate compensation for the same loss.
13.4 Events beyond reasonable control
An event beyond reasonable control may affect the timing of performance. A party relying on such an event should take reasonable steps to limit its impact and communicate material disruption where appropriate. It does not create a blanket exemption from obligations that the contract or applicable law requires to be performed.
Security incidents, provider outages and changes in law are assessed according to their actual effect, the obligations concerned and applicable law. This paragraph does not permit us to impose an undisclosed replacement price or ignore a mandatory customer protection.
13.5 English text and statutory protections
These Terms of Service are provided in English only. Translated navigation or other website content does not create a separate translated version of these Terms. Interpretation remains subject to applicable law, including any mandatory language, transparency or consumer-protection requirement.
14. Questions, concerns and suggestions
Please contact us at cs@platinumthink.com with any questions, concerns or suggestions about these Terms or the services, or for assistance with an account, order, payment, course or PDF delivery. For order enquiries, include your order number and purchasing email.
