Privacy Policy & Cookies
Last updated: 29 October 2026
This policy explains how Platinum Think collects, uses, retains and protects personal information when you browse the website, use member services, purchase courses or digital products, or interact with us. It also explains cookies and related technologies.
1. Information categories and sources
When you browse, providers such as Cloudflare may process your IP address, browser and device information, request times, page requests and security logs to deliver and protect the website. We use an approximate country code for region settings, without requesting precise location. Your selected region and language help provide the appropriate website experience.
If you use an account, information includes your email address, authentication information, session and profile details you choose to provide. If you choose a third-party sign-in service such as Google, that provider supplies account identifiers, email and relevant basic information under your authorisation. The provider also handles information under its own policy. Free reading does not require an account.
When you purchase or contact us, we process the necessary order number, product, amount, payment status, delivery details, contact information and correspondence. Payment providers directly collect and process payment-card or other payment details. We receive confirmations and transaction records needed to fulfil the order and do not ask you to send full payment-card information through ordinary messages.
Membership registration stores the version and time of your confirmation of the Terms in the existing Supabase account metadata to administer membership and related enquiries.
2. Purposes and grounds for processing
Information is used to deliver and protect the website, authenticate members, maintain sessions, remember region preferences, fulfil orders and deliver content, provide support, handle payment transactions, prevent fraud or misuse, and meet legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely as appropriate on contract performance, legal obligations, legitimate interests that do not override your rights, or your consent. Marketing or other optional uses requiring consent are handled separately. You may withdraw consent through the applicable mechanism without affecting earlier lawful processing.
3. Cookies and local storage
Your manually selected country or region is stored in the pb_country cookie for up to one year. You can reset preferences in the footer or delete cookies through your browser. Language is determined by the URL. Member sign-in may store session information in browser local storage; signing out clears the session on that device.
Cloudflare may also use technical data or cookies needed for site security. The current site does not add advertising tracking cookies.
4. Sharing and service providers
We share information as needed with relevant providers, including Cloudflare for hosting, delivery and security, Supabase for member authentication, and the payment service selected at checkout, such as Stripe or Airwallex. Providers may also process information under their own privacy policies for their legal obligations or services.
We do not sell personal information. Information may also be disclosed where necessary to meet legal requirements, protect rights, address fraud or security incidents, or complete a lawful business reorganisation, with appropriate safeguards. Private account, payment and support information is not published as website content.
5. International processing
Our providers may process or store information outside your location. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate contractual or other transfer safeguards, considering the information, purpose and recipient. Data-protection laws may differ between jurisdictions.
6. Retention and security
Information is retained as needed for the service, security and applicable legal requirements, and is deleted or otherwise handled when no longer needed as required by law. The site and its providers use appropriate security measures, but no internet transmission or storage can be guaranteed absolutely secure.
7. Your choices and rights
You may read free content without signing in, manage browser cookies and sign out to clear the session on that device. If you do not provide information needed for an account or order, we may be unable to provide the corresponding member or purchase service.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, request portability, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent and complain to a relevant regulator. We may reasonably verify your identity and handle requests within legal deadlines and exceptions. Transaction or dispute records that the law requires us to retain may not be immediately deleted.
8. Information about minors
Anyone below the age of majority where they live should use member or purchase services with a parent or legal guardian’s permission and supervision. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information without consent required by law and will take appropriate restriction or deletion steps if such collection is identified.
9. Third-party sites and updates
Original-source links and other third-party sites have their own privacy policies; this policy does not govern those sites. This policy may be updated as features or legal requirements change. The update date will appear on this page.
